Who We Are
CUPE Local 3120 represents the Library Assistants, Library Technicians, Clerks, Custodian, Maintenance Persons, Cleaners, Network and Software Support Analysts and the Computer Assistant from the Thunder Bay Public Library in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
What We Do
CUPE is a strong and democratic union, Canada’s largest union, with over 635,000 members across the country, committee to improving the quality of life for workers in Canada. CUPE represents workers across a broad range of sectors including health care, emergency services, primary, secondary and post-secondary education, early learning and child care, municipalities, social services, libraries, utilities, transportation and airlines.
CUPE advocates for workers who deliver the public services people depend on. We help our members provide the highest level of service by ensuring they are safe and healthy at work, and that they get fair pay and benefits for the services they provide. We also advocate for better public services, like improvements to public health care and to the Canada Pension Plan, that would improve our communities and the lives of all Canadians.
